MRS. EMMA DELP BURIED HERE
DIED AT ROCK ISLAND AND BROT (sic) TO BRIGHTON FOR BURIAL THIS AFTERNOON

Mrs. Emma Dencker Delp who died at her home in Rock Island Tuesday with pulmonary tuberculosis was brot (sic) to Brighton yesterday morning for burial in Hillcrest cemetery. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Methodist church.

Mrs. Delp was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dencker who lived east of Brighton a number of years ago. Her husband was Jay Delp and they lived at Fairfield for a time and later moved to Rock Island. She was 32 years old having been born here March 18, 1894. There are three children.

She is survived by her husband who lives at Fairfield; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Simpson, of Rock Island; a brother, Louis Dencker, and her father, Henry Dencker, of Rock Island. Mrs. Will Stockman who died last May was a sister.

Mrs. Simpson who has been living with Mrs. Delp, accompanied the remains here and the father is expected today.
