Lester S. Lippold
(1911- May 3, 1917)

Friends here were shocked Friday morning to hear of the death of little Lester Lippold, youngest child of Barney Lippold and wife. He was about five years old and took sick Thursday morning after playing with the children awhile, with acute indigestion, and passed away that evening at seven o'clock. This is a sad blow indeed, and the more heartrending because of the suddeness of it all. The parents brothers and little sister have the deepest sympathy of friends. His little school mates, eight of them, did their last kindness in bearing his little body to its last resting place. Funeral services were held on Saturday morning from the church in St. Marys and was attended by a large number of sorrowing friends.
