Duane was a very outgoing, fun loving, hardworking, dad, brother and grandfather who so enjoyed spending time with his family. Whether it was going to Crouse’s for breakfast with his son Paul to pulling his grandsons, Dalton and Cole, behind his bike on the trails to running 5ks with his daughter Anne. He was always there for his family and went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of and felt the love of his whole heart.

Duane owned the SuperAmerica gas station before becoming a rural mail carrier for USPS where he retired in 2003. While working at the post office he worked part time for Heartland Coop and his official retirement date would have been Oct 1, 2021. With his dry sense of humor and sarcasm, he always made people laugh and he will be so missed by his family and friends
