Obituary – Daryl Edward Williams
Daryl Edward Williams, eldest son of Fred L. and Velma Lucille Williams, was born at Lacona, Iowa, Dec. 5, 1935, and departed this life at the home of her parents in Des Moines on March 15, 1944, at the age of eight years, three months and 15 days. In his departure he leaves a loving and devoted father and mother, a younger brother, Arthur Dale Williams, and grandparents, Charles and Emma Williams of Des Moines; his grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Newman of Lacona, who has been at his bedside constantly for many weeks. Daryl, for many months has suffered with an ailment that finally took him in death, however, through it all he was patient and always thoughtful of those about him who did everything possible to alleviate his suffering. Funeral services, conducted by members of the Watch Tower were held at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines on Friday, March 17, with burial at the Newbern Cemetery, Kermit L. Davis officiating.
