William J. Keeser
(December 27, 1881 – December 23, 1944)

William J. Keeser, son of Isaac and Amelia Keeser, was born at Sandyville, [Iowa] Dec 27, 1881, and died at his home in Denver, Colo., Dec 23, 1944, at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 26 days. He was married to Claudia I. May, June 30, 1909. Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Dewey Whitlow; two nieces, Mrs. Jesse Johnson and Betty Whitlow; and other relatives and friends. Mr. Keeser attended Simpson College and was a graduate of Iliff School of Theology, Denver, Colo. He was a Methodist minister until 1922 at which time he entered Red Cross work. He was field director of the Red Cross war service until 1942 when he was transferred to the veterans service and at the time of this death he was assistant director of veterans’ service of Denver, Colo. Services were held Tuesday afternoon, Dec 26, at the Orr Funeral Home, with interment in the Indianola cemetery. The Rev. N. B. Blackman, pastor of the Milo Methodist church, officiated.
