Mickey Chapman
(1917-1923)

Frank Marion Chapman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chapman, was born July 25th, 1917, and died March 17th, 1923, age five years, eight months and twenty days. Mickey, as he was called by all who knew him, was a child whom everybody loved, because of his sweetness of character. By his winsomeness he won his way into the hearts of the people. Suddenly stricken with the scarlet fever, God called him for it was of such as he that Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.” [Copied from a scrapbook at the Warren County Historical Society Library, Indianola, Iowa]
