Henry Churchman
(April 8, 1844 – March 6, 1923)

Again the “Grim Reaper” has came in our midst, this time claiming as his victim Henry Churchman, who has been quite poorly ever since last November. Some time ago he contracted pneumonia, and hung between life and death for nearly three weeks, and just as we were all thinking that he was on the point of overcoming the disease, he took a relapse last Tuesday morning and passed to the “Great Beyond” at one thirty p.m. Funeral services were held for him Thursday, where a host of friends and relatives gathered to offer their last respects for him after which he was laid to rest in the cemetery west of town.
