Evelyn Amelia Wadle
(June 3, 1937 - March 9, 2019)

Evelyn Amelia Wadle, 81, passed away March 9, 2019 at her home in Indianola. Mass will be held for Evelyn at 11:00am, Thursday March 14, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. A visitation will begin at 9:00am prior to the service. Burial will take place at Otterman Cemetery near Adel.
Evelyn was born June 3, 1937 in rural Marion County to Ferman and Luella Wadle. She attended Saint Marys Highs School. Evelyn was known by many for her time working at Walgreens in Indianola. She truly loved her co-workers and talking to the customers. Evelyn was an avid Iowa State fan. She loved watching the Cyclones. She was a member of the St. Marys Belles Red Hat Society as well as St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Evelyn loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Evelyn is survived by her brothers; Clifford (Joan) Wadle, Larry (Patty) Wadle, Tom (Marilyn) Wadle, Dick (Jean) Wadle, Pat (Cindy) Wadle, Lon (Carla) Wadle, and sister; Joyce (Tom) Frericks, brother-in-law Bill Haymond and sister-in-law Kathy Wadle. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Haymond, brothers Lou Wadle and Michael Wadle (infant), and her longtime companion Ed Wright.
