David Wayne Oehler
(December 17, 1960 - March 7, 2019)

David Wayne Oehler passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life services for David will be held at a later time.
David was born on December 17, 1960 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Vernon and Mary (Campbell) Oehler. David graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1979. After graduating David moved to Des Moines and married Nancy Deaton in 1992, then later on divorced. David was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and a Green Bay Packer fan. David loved spending time with his pride and joy; his children.
David is survived by three daughters; Lindsey Oehler of Sioux Falls, SD; Shelbi Oehler of Carlisle and Jordan Oehler along with his soon to be son in-law Dillon Dobberke of Des Moines; his three sisters, Peggy Oehler-Fuller, Laurie Trager, and Connie Oehler all from Cedar Falls, Iowa; his nephew Travis Fuller of Cedar Falls; nieces, Shana (Scott and children) Mallinger, Tiana Oehler all from Cedar Falls and Mikala Springer from Ankeny Iowa. David was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Mary Oehler and two brothers, Lonnie Oehler and Stephen Oehler.
