(March 28, 1923 – March 29, 1923)

Obituary
James Elial, little son of John and Anna VanScoyk, was born March 28, 1923 and departed this life March 29, 1923. Its little life here was short budding on earth, only to bloom in heaven. Go little pilgrim to thy home, on yonder, blissful shore. We miss thee here but soon will come, where though hast gone before. The funeral was held in the home March 29th, 1923, conducted by Rev. R. Kessler and the little body laid to rest in the Sandyville Cemetery.
