Charles Andrew Sours
(January 11, 1873 – September 17, 1923)

Carlisle , Sept. 24 – After a few days illness, Charles Sours passed away at his home last Monday evening. Although it was known his condition was quite serious, his death came as a shock to the community. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Astley of Des Moines, and interment was made in the Carlisle Cemetery. The concluding services were given by the Masonic Lodge of Runnells. Mr. Sours was fifty-two years of age, and is survived by his wife and two children, Miss Nona, who has been employed at the telephone office, and Owens Sours.
