Aged Man Succumbs To Heath Trouble
C. H. Hill Found in Feed Lot Near Sandyville
C. H. Hill, who was 70 years old July 24th, was found dead in the hog lot on the farm of his brother, J. H. Hill, a mile and a half northwest of Sandyville about 3:30 Saturday afternoon. Mr. Hill was a single man, making his home with his brother’s family. The men of the place had gone away to thresh. C. H. Hill was last seen by Mrs. J. H. Hill about nine o’clock in the morning and she though he had also gone where the threshing crew were at work. About the middle of the afternoon she passed through the feed lot on the way to the melon patch and discovered the body. Coroner DeFord was summoned from Carlisle and empaneled a jury consisting of H. R. Shupe, D. H. Goss and Carl Bingley, which returned a verdict of death from heart failure.
