Largely attended funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 24, 1939, at the Methodist church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Glen Lamb. Music was furnished by Mrs. Clifford Brewster and Mrs. Wayne Howard and daughter, with Miss Beatrice Shupe at the piano. Interment was in the family lot at the Newbern cemetery.
