OBITUARY
Harold Wayne Lawyer was born in Liberty Township, Warren County, Iowa, December 10, 1916, and died at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Spencer, Monroe, Iowa, aged one year, eight months, and one day. Harold was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lawyer and died after an illness of one week.
The funeral services were conducted at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Mills of Liberty Center, at 3:00 p.m. Monday, Rev. C. W. Stewart of Indianola officiating. Interment was made at the Liberty Center Cemetery. Harold was a happy, spirited child, scattering sunshine wherever he went and was a favorite with old and young. The parents were not alone in their bereavement, for the entire community shares their loss and is giving heart sympathy. They also have the comforting assurance that their loss is his gain, and that ere long they shall greet him again where parting shall be no more.
