Harold Burgess Bloom
(May 10, 1899 – March 12, 1921)Harold Burgess Bloom, only son of George M. and Sadie Bloom, was born near Milo, May 10, 1899. He grew to manhood and was loved by all the community. He was married to Miss Dove Wright of Indianola March 12, 1921. To this happy union was born one little son, Keith. Harold was stricken Tuesday with the fatal illness. All that medical aid and loving hands could do was done, but to no avail. He called his family about him, bade them good-bye and told them to meet him in heaven. The messenger called and he answered the summons at 1:35 Thursday p.m. He was ready to go and told them he was going home to his heavenly father. A young life so full of promise has gone out. He was beloved by all who knew him. His sunny smile, his happy disposition, made him a favorite with all with whom he came in contact.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his young heart-broken wife and baby son Keith, who will sadly miss the loving care he gave them. He also leaves a sorrowing father and mother, two sister, Clara Mafra and Thelma Lucille; a host of companions and sorrowing friends.
