Nellie Alta (Swartslander) Fritz
(Feb 28, 1889 – Aug 10, 1923)

Nellie Alta Swartslander was born in Tama County, Iowa, February 28, 1889, and departed this life at Colorado Springs, Colo, August 10th, 1923, at the age of 34 years, 5 months, 10 days.
She was united in marriage to Albert Fritz, January 12th, 1910. To them was born four children: Bernice Elizabeth, Alice Mae, Donald Elmer and Leonard Albert, all of whom, with a devoted husband, a loving father, mother, brother and sister are living to mourn her early death.
When thirteen years of age she united with the Church of Christ and has continued in the faith and lived a constant Christian life until her spirit took its flight to its heavenly home and to the God who gave it.
The funeral services were conducted from the home of her father, Henry Swartslander, Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock conducted by Rev. J. O. White of the Baptist Church. Interment in the Indianola Cemetery. The family wish to express their thanks for the many acts of kindness extended to them by their neighbors in this, their sad bereavement.
