Carlisle - J. T. Pyle, who has been poorly for some time, passed away at his home Monday evening. Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at Hartford, conducted by Rev. Wilson, and the body laid to rest in the Hartford cemetery. Mr. Pyle has been a resident here for the past twelve years, having formerly lived on his farm near Hartford. He was a well respected citizen and will be missed, not only in the home, but in the church and community as well.
Mrs. Irvin Pyle and children arrived here Tuesday morning from Montcello, Minnesota, to join her husband here in the death of their father, J. T. Pyle.
