Allen M. Hooper
(April 7, 1862 – March 7, 1891)

Dr. Hooper of Milo, died at his home in that place Saturday last, March 7th, and was buried in the Indianola Cemetery Monday the 9th; services were held in the Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Stewart of Milo. Dr. Hooper was one of our excellent citizens and will be missed by the people of Milo and vicinity and will be kindly remembered about Summerset where he first began the practice of medicine. The wife now widowed has the sympathy of her many friends in this time of her greatest sorrow. The funeral was under the auspices of the I. O. O. F.
