Martin Humphrey Wickett, 76, of 411 Watson Ave. died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a three month illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Wickett, a retired construction company truck driver, was born in Warren County, had lived in Des Moines since 1949 and was a member of Teamster's Union Local 90.

Surviving are his widow, Opal; four sons, Dean of New Virginia, Phillip of Woodward, Gene of Des Moines and Danny, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Rothfus of Woodward; two brothers, Clyde of Newton and Ralph of Indianola; a sister, Mrs. Vera Garrison of New Virginia, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
