Richard Schaefer passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his home in Carlisle. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Family and friends visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Interment will be in the Carlisle City Cemetery. Dick and Cheryl have been residents of Carlisle for 50 years. He had been a long time employee of Economy Forms in Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe and sister, Margaret Pershy. Surviving Dick is his wife, Cheryl of Carlisle; daughter, Vickie Pressly of Carlisle; son, Cory of Carlisle and granddaughter, Josie Pressly; 4 sisters, Donna Schumann of Carlisle, Darlene Schumacher of Knoxville, Geraldine Baumgarten of Indianola and Linda Wild of Desoto, Iowa. Memorials may be given in Dicks Memory.
