Milo News - William Horr, Sr., after a long spell of severe sickness passed away on Sunday at the home of his grandson, William Horr Jr. His Funeral service was held at Good Chapel at 2 p.m. on Monday conducted by Rev. C. S. Fair, after which his remains were laid to rest in the old cemetery nearby [Plainville Cemetery]. Mr. Horr was a member of the M. E. church and we have heard him express himself many times that he was waiting and prepared to go to his rest. He related to us several times as concerning his conversion and his struggle with himself and sin, to get freedom from the bondage of sin and rejoiced in the victory through the Lord, Jesus Christ.
