OBITUARY
Margaret Gibson was born in Preston county, Virginia, July 29, 1818, and died December 28, 1892, at 4 o’clock a.m. She moved with her parents to Crawford county, Ohio, when 5 years old. When 18 years of age she moved with her parents to Livingston county, Kentucky. There she was converted and joined the Free Will Baptist church. When 20 years of age she moved with her parents to Marion county, Illinois. At the age of 21 she was married to John Adamson and with him joined the Methodist Episcopal church and has lived a member of the same ever since. She moved to Marion county, Iowa, with her husband in 1847, and in 1848 moved to Warren county, Iowa. In 1849 John Adamson died and she was left a widow with three children. She was married to Albert Randolph in 1855; was the mother of six children, four born of the first marriage and two of the second.
