Obituary
Thurman Earl Nicholson, was born Nov 2, 1899. Died at the home of his father, Jan 27, 1916, at the age of 16 years, 2 months, and 25 days. He leaves to mourn his loss his father and two brothers, Guy and Tom, both of this place. His mother and one brother has preceded him to that better land. He was converted this winter in Rev. Fitzgerald’s meeting. He has been a kind and loving son and brother, loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his family and associates. We had a precious treasure once, he was our joy and pride; we loved him, oh perhaps too well for soon he slept and died. All is dark within our dwelling, lonely are our hearts today. For the one we loved so dearly, has forever passed away. Heaven retaineth now our treasure, earth the lonely casket keeps; and the sunbeams love to linger where our darling Earl sleeps.
