Clara Hicks
(Mar 18, 1873 - June 16, 1895)

Died, at her home in. Otter township, Warren county, Iowa. Sunday evening, June 16, 1895. Clara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hicks, aged 22 years and 2 months. Clara was born in Warren county, Iowa, March 18, 1873. She was always of a loving, quiet, modest disposition, and therefore a general favorite. She experienced religion several years ago, was received as a member of the Christian Union church, and her sweet trust in Jesus lifted her above the suffering she has endured in her sickness, which commenced last March, and she endured all with out a murmur, expressing herself as "Waiting for her Savior's Call." The funeral occurred Tuesday at Belmont Zion, conducted by Rev. Fair, and was generally attended. The deepest sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved ones.
