The present. life is lived under the shadows of constant change. This has much to do with the failures on every hand to carry out good resolutions, generous impulses, noble aspirations and to perfect Christian manifest. Many sink under the uneven pressure of age and affliction and long for the silent rest of the tomb. This bereft family have the sympathy of the entire community, in their sad bereavement. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, in Milo, May 16th, conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. Tennant and Rev. Coventry, after which the body was laid to rest in I.O.O.F. cemetery north of town.
