Barb McKee, 79, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at McLaren's Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Barb was born in Iowa Falls, IA the daughter of Margaret Ann and Alfred Jackson. She was a corporate secretary at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Iowa for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Terry (Kelly) McConnell of West Des Moines and Jean (George) Crookes of Indianola; son, Brian (Ginger) McKee of Savoy, IL; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dick Jackson, Kenny (Sharon) Jackson, Wes (Shirley) Jackson and Al Jackson, Jr.; and a sister, Louise Hogen.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McLaren's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Barbara A. McKee Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo, P.O. Box 157 Johnston, IA 50131.
