Cleo Earl Silcott
(March 19, 1907 - Jan 6, 1908)

Cleo Earl, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Silcott, was born March 19, 1907, died Jan. 6, 1908, aged 9 months and 18 days. Little Cleo, the pride of father and mother's heart, came into the home and lived long enough to entwine himself as a sweet tendril around their hearts, then departed this life and stepped into a purer and higher realm where the Savior said, 'There angels do always behold the face of our Father which is in heaven". Just old enough to make his childhood prattle interesting and his baby attractive, but God ever cares for his own and how much pain, sorrows and discouragements have been missed in his life, and how soon earthly scenes were changed for heavenly.
:Funeral services by Rev. G. D. Gordon were held at the home after which there mains were taken to the cemetery at Indianola. The bereft parents, family and friends have the sympathy of the entire community in their hours of gloom. But we leave it ill in the hands of our heavenly father who does all things well.
