Ella Inez Clark
(Oct 10, 1870 - Jan 12, 1911)

Obituary,—Ella Inez Clark
Ella Inez Fletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Fletcher, was born October 10, 1870, in Marion Co., Iowa, and was there raised to womanhood. She departed this life Thursday, January 12, 1911, aged forty years, three months and two days. When seventeen years of age she united in marriage to Charles Clark, also of Marion County. To this union six children were born, namely: Roy, Lawrence, Dollie, Clyde, Clarence and a baby girl who is now but only two and one half months old.
A few years after their marriage they removed from Marion to Warren County, settling on the farm upon which she died. During her residence here she has, by her sweet and kind disposition, won to herself many friends who were shocked at the news of her death. She united with the Christian church about fifteen years ago and her every day life fully justified the name "Christian." She was a most loving and devoted wife and mother and her home was one of the most happy homes in the country. She leaves to mourn her departure, a loving husband, two daughters and three sons, (one son having preceded her to the better land but a few hours), a father, three sisters, and three brothers and a host of friends.
On account of sickness of other members of the family, only short funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. C. S. Fair, after which all that was mortal of this good woman was laid to rest by the side of her son in the Indianola cemetery.
