Fanny Sams
(Aug 10, 1870 - Aug 31, 1910)

Obituary—Fanny Coffman
Fanny Coffman left us August 31, 1910, crossing the great divide. She took leave of life without a fear, after a week of severe illness.
She was born in Hammondsburg, Iowa, August 10, 1870. United in marriage to Ira Sams October 19, 1902, at which time they went to Cameron, Missouri, where they have always made their home.
In 1889 she joined the Christian Union church at Hammondsburg transferring her membership to the Christian church in Cameron where she made many friends.
We think of Fanny as one who was always ready to lend a helping hand and ever ready to sympathize with all in times of sorrow. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, three children, Andrew, Arnold, and Minnie, a mother, six brothers, and a sister, James, Arthur, Ed, Bert, Harry and Wesley Coffman, and Mrs. Joe Gardener all living here except. Arthur who is in the Phillipine Islands.
Rev C. S. Fair assisted by Rev. Gordon conducted the funeral services in the grove at the Hammondsburg church at 2 p. m., September 2, Rev. Fair telling of the many advantages found in that beautiful country to which Fanny has journeyed.
