Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 5-20-2004:

Earl Utsler Jr., 73, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at home. Private graveside services where held in the Linn Grove Cemetery, rural Norwalk.

Earl had lived most of his life in Indianola. He worked for McCoy's Sanitation and also as a janitor for the Indianola School District. He enjoyed wrestling, puzzles, listening to scriptures, camping, fishing and farming.

Survivors include his wife Margrette; son, Jeff of Des Moines; daughters, LaNell Penick of Milo, Roxanne Ohnemus of Ackworth and Maria Chance of Indianola; sister, Doris Cronkhite of Earlpark, IN.; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements were handled by Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.
