Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 2-20-1991:

Services for Roy Andrew Turner of Indianola will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, and burial will be in Hendrickson Cemetery in Warren County. Mr. Turner, 84, died of a heart attack Sunday at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.

A lifelong resident of Warren County, he retired as a self-employed carpenter, was an Army veteran of World War II and had been a member of the American Legion.

Nieces and nephews survive.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.
