Julie Ann Alexander, daughter of Homer and Marvel Town Turnbull, was born Jan. 2, 1953, in Des Moines and died Tuesday, Jan. 1 at the University Hospitals in Iowa City the day before her 32nd birthday.

She grew up in Milo and on Jan. 28, 1972, was married to Jerry Orlo Alexander. To this union two daughters, Angela and Malissa, were born. They lived in Milo until 1976 when they moved to Dallas, where she was active in the United Methodist Church.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Marvel; a sister, Pamela; a brother, Dwight; and a daughter, Malissa.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of Dallas; her father, Homer, of Lineville; her daughter, Angela; one brother, Dwain, of Indianola; and two sisters, Phyllis Stills of New Virginia and Linda Alexander of Lacona.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 4, at the Mosher Funeral Home in Milo. Burial was in the Milo IOOF Cemetery.
