Marion Tigner, 64, of Des Moines died of a heart attack Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1990, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services were held Nov. 9 at Mosher Funeral Home in Lacona, with burial in the Liberty Center Cemetery.
Mr. Tigner was born in Liberty Center and had lived in Des Moines about 25 years. He retired as a steel worker for Economy Forms, was a Navy veteran of World War II and had been a member of the Masonic Lodge, the American Legion and the steel workers union.
Surviving are his wife, Louise; two sons, Terry of Des Moines and Brenton of Lacona; a stepson, Jerry Jasper of Des Moines; four daughters, Trudy Ernst and Valerie Quinn, both of Lacona, Brenda Gass of Carlisle and Lola Spear of Milo; a stepdaughter, Judy Starkey of Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Irene Pfaff of Indianola; 15 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
