Lucille Josephine "Jo" Hutt, 72, of Clinton, Ark., formerly of Indianola, died of a series of strokes Thursday, Oct. 26, 1989, at her home. Services were held Oct. 31 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, with burial in Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. Hutt, a homemaker, was born in Pleasantville. She grew up in Liscomb and Albion and lived in Indianola from 1937 to 1977 when she moved to Arkansas.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Choctaw, Ark.

She is survived by her husband, Elwood "Bud" Hutt; two sons, Rex of California and Glen of Des Moines; seven sisters, Ruth Kepheart of Keister, Minn., Flossie Wheelock of Conrad, Irene Jordan of Marshalltown, Jesse Dawson of North St. Paul, Minn., Fern Grenevelt of Eldora, Irma Prickett of Torrance, Calif., Gerry Browne of Marshalltown; a brother, Robert Sutherland of Albion; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
