Floris J. Conrad, 76, of Melcher-Dallas died of complications of pneumonia Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Aug. 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Melcher-Dallas, of which she was a member. Burial was held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bauer.

Mrs. Conrad was born in Ottumwa and had lived in the Melcher-Dallas area most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include six sons, Michael of Monett, Mo., Martin of Ottumwa, Mark of Lovilia, Montie and Melvin of Melcher-Dallas, and Marvin of Knoxville; three daughters, Marcella Jacobs of Des Moines, Marsha Fetters of Knoxville and Marilyn Hall of Worland, Wyo.; a sister, Effie of Nevada; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
