Services for Ronald Stierwalt, 95 will be Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. Memorials are requested to the First United Methodist Church in Indianola. Ronald passed away June 26, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in 2006. Surviving are his children, Lila (Ken) Ruch of Indianola and Roger (Mary) Stierwalt of Knoxville; grandchildren, Karla (Doug) Halverson of Coon Rapids, Brad (Annette) Stierwalt and Wesley (Barb) Stierwalt both of Pleasantville; nine great grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Marlene (Kenneth) White of Chariton and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
