Funeral services for Carolyn Kay Knouse, 63, of Indianola who went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 23, 2008, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Interment will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Carolyn, the youngest of thirteen children, was raised in the Medora farm community and graduated from Southeast Warren High School. An Indianola resident her entire adult life, Carolyn was a homemaker and devoted Christian, whose family always came first. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are a son Dwaine (Jody) of Tonganoxie, KS: a daughter Jolene (Allen) Crouse of rural Ackworth; three brothers Ray Stalter of Indianola, Keith Stalter Marysville, WA, and Jim Stalter of Adel, IA; three sisters, Mary Adamson, Rose Marie Knoer and Shirley Kalbus, all of Indianola; and two granddaughters, Bailey and Cameron Kay Knouse.

Visitation will be held 2 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, at Overton Funeral Home, where the family will be present to greet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to her family. On-line condolences may be made to www.overtonfunerals.com .
