Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 9-26-1990:

Luthere Shupe, 76, of Indianola died of a heart attack Friday, Sept. 21, 1990, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held Sept. 24 at Liberty Center United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with burial at Liberty Center Cemetery.

Miss Shupe was born in Warren County and lived much of her life in the Liberty Center area. She also lived in Des Moines for nearly 30 years and worked for The Associated Press until her retirement.

Survivors include two nieces, Kathy King of Indianola and Karma Critz of Overland Park, Kan.

Mosher Funeral Home in Lacona handled arrangements.
