Thomas Lee "Tom" Seuferer, 44, was born January 31, 1960 in Ames, Iowa and died October 10, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 15 at Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Ankeny.

Ton graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1979 and from DMACC with a degree in auto mechanics for several years before owning the Elbow Room Saloon in Ankeny. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Phyllis Seuferer of Ankeny; two brothers, Melvin (Shawn) Seuferer of Eau Claire, WI, and Ed (Ann) Seuferer of West Des Moines; three sisters, Judy of Newton, Janet (Richard) Dressman of Colorado Springs, CO, and Joann (Kyle) Weuve of Urbandale; one nephew; and six nieces.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family in loving memory of Tom or to the Isaak Walton League.
