Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 2-6-2005:

Guadlupe "Lupe" Schultz, 85, died February 4, 2005 of heart failure. No services are planned. Lupe lived in Melcher-Dallas for 15 years before moving to Arizona in 1981. During her time in Melcher-Dallas, she ran the tavern, steakhouse and picadeli. Lupe is survived by her two daughters, Kathy (Arnold) Hoch of Melcher-Dallas and Lynnette Schultz of Tucson, AZ: three grandchildren, John Essex, Bobbi Avila and Billie Hoch; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Schultz.
