Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 12-29-1983:

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Ripperger, 73, of RR 1 Milo will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Milo. A Rosary service was held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Belmont Cemetery near Milo.

Mrs. Ripperger died Tuesday at the Westview Care Center in Indianola.

Born in Warren County, she had lived the last 53 years in the Milo area. She was a charter member of the Milo O.D.O. Club and also a member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Augustine's Church.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald; two sons, Edwin of Indianola, Harold of Greensberg, Ind.; three daughters, Virginia Biddle of Lakeland, Fla., Phyllis Metz and Beverly Chicchelly, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Roman Schneider of Melcher, John Schneider of Tipton; three sister, Leona Hoch of Melcher, Dora Gass of Lacona and Victoria Wadle of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandson.
