Mary Apolonia Conrad, 100, of Melcher died of a respiratory ailment Friday at Pleasant Care Rest Home in Pleasantville. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Bauer Cemetery.

Mrs. Conrad was born in Bauer and lived in Melcher most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include five sons, Marcel of Melcher, Adrian of Florida, Alfred of Harper, Anthony of DeWitt and Victor of Carlisle; four daughters, Marguerite Conklin of Union City, Ind., Edna Spicer and Frances Barga, both of Richmond, Ind., and Genevieve Schoenlin of Perrysville, Ohio; 48 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call between 9 a.m. and noon Tuesday at Mosher Funeral Home or between noon and the service time at the church, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
