Anna Josephine Konrad, 83, of Indianola died of congestive heart failure Saturday, July 25, 1992, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services were held July 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona, of which she was a member. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery there.

Mrs. Konrad was born in Lacona and had lived in Indianola for several years. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene, in 1982.

Survivors include five sons, Darrell of Indianola, Bob and Donald, both of Lacona, and Bernard and Flavian, both of Milo; four daughters, Norma Wallace of Knoxville, Wilma Dittmer of Milo, and Pat Marsh and Rosie Lepley, both of Lacona; 34 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
