Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA, date unknown:

Albert Andrew Konrad, 77, of Lacona died of pneumonia Saturday, Oct. 16, 1993, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Konrad was a lifelong resident of Lacona. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three brothers, Allen of Lacona, Gerald of Arvada, Colo., and Gilbert of Tabor; two sisters, Margaret Klein of Lacona and Helen Zaring of La Habra, Calif.
Mosher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
