Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 4-11-1991:

Arthur Carl Knust, 75, of Indianola died of a heart attack Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, and burial will be in Indianola IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Knust was born in Marion County and had lived in Indianola since 1963, coming from Lacona. He was a retired farmer and member of the Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Othella; a son, Arlan, and a daughter, Sheryl Clark, both of Indianola; two brothers, Lester of Indianola and Norbert of Dawson; a sister, Laura Chamberlain of Pleasantville; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
