Obituary from The Des Moines Register newspaper, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa, USA on 5-9-1991:

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Milo Christian Union Church for Gerald Wayne Knouse of Milo. Burial will be in Goode Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Knouse , 50, died of cancer Tuesday at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.

Born in Warren County, he moved to Milo last month after living in California and formerly in Spain. He was an electronics projects worker for the government and was a veteran of the Navy.

Survivors include two sons, Geraldo and David, both of Madrid, Spain; his mother, Mamie Knouse of Milo; a sister, Dorothy Mallory of Bussey; and two brothers, Edwin of Decatur, Ind., and David of Lacona.

Friends may call after noon today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
