Goldie Marsh-Beard, 86, of Milo died of bullous pemphegoid Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Des Moines General Hospital. Graveside services were held March 18 at Carlisle City Cemetery.

Mrs. Marsh-Beard was born in Palmyra and had lived in Carlisle before moving to Milo nine years ago. She was a retired small-animal caretaker with Diamond Laboratories and a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Carlisle.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer; a daughter, Bonnie Clark of Carlisle; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Richardson Funeral Home handled arrangements.
