Olive O. Bumgarner, 94, of Indianola died of a heart ailment Saturday, Sept. 21, 1996, at Indianola Good Samaritan Center where she had been a resident since 1993. Services were held Sept. 24 at Overton Funeral Home, with burial at Indianola City Cemetery.

Mrs. Bumgarner was born in Warren County and had lived in Indianola since 1965, having previously lived in Liberty Center. She was a retired food service worker with Simpson College.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William.

Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Weeks, and a son, John, both of Indianola; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Indianola Rescue Unit.
