Obituary from The Record-Herald and Indianola Tribune newspaper, Indianola, Warren County, Iowa, USA on 10-27-1999:

Ronald "Butch" Kennedy, 58, of Milo died of a heart attack there Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999. Mr. Kennedy was born in Indianola and had lived in Milo most of his life. He was self-employed in cement construction and was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Jeff of Maplewood, Minn; his parents, Orval and Wilma Kennedy of Milo; a sister, Dixie Downey of Indianola; two brothers, Tom of Des Moines and Larry Benedict of Craig, Colo., and a grandchild.

Mosher Funeral Home in Milo handled arrangements.
