Gilmore "Gil" James Keller, 73, of St. Marys died of pneumonia Sunday, April 26, 1998, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Peterson Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys, of which he was a member, with burial at the cemetery there.

Mr. Keller was born in Lacona and was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He retired after 33 years with Pittsburgh Steel in Des Moines and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Marys American Legion.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Alexander of Norwalk and Kathy Alexander and Kayla Keller, both of Martensdale; three sons, Jim and David, both of Norwalk, and Bill of St. Marys; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Martensdale-St. Marys Little League or Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Keller was born in Lacona and lived in St. Marys most of his life before moving to Norwalk. He was a retired employee of Pittsburgh Steel in Des Moines, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion in St. Marys.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Alexander of Norwalk and Kathy Alexander and Kayla Keller, both of Martensdale; three sons, Jim and David, both of Norwalk, and Bill of St. Marys; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Martensdale-St. Marys Little League or Knights of Columbus.
